Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Diploma from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology in anatomy, basic cardiology and physiology of the heart AND/OR graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, Medical Technology OR RN Program in cardiovascular technology;
  • Minimum six (6) months recent experience in a stress testing department which includes exercise, pharmacologic and cardiopulmonary stress testing;
  • Eligible for certification with CSCT;
  • Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
  • Good knowledge of ECG and cardiopulmonary testing equipment;
  • Good ECG skills and arrhythmia interpretation skills;
  • Experience working with word processing and spreadsheet application;
  • Experience performing stress testing with radiopharmaceuticals (nuclear and PET testing);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Sound judgement and problem solving skills; initiative;
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
