Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic Privileged Access Management (PAM) Consultant/Lead for a long-term operational role within our Digital Identity (IAM) team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions with a primary focus on Privileged Access Management. The lead will manage IAM infrastructure, ensure compliance with security standards, and guide a team of IAM professionals to strengthen and protect the organization’s security posture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Team leadership and collaboration
  • Coordinating with global teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients regarding IAM services, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
  • Implementing strategies to enhance service offerings and operational efficiency by identifying automation/innovation opportunities.
  • Diligently ensuring that all service level agreements (SLAs) are met and rigorously performing access controls is critical to maintaining optimal security and operational standards.
  • Supporting the development and update of User Access Profiles and RBAC models for new and existing assets.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Establishing clear goals, setting performance expectations, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Addressing client concerns promptly and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Design and implement IAM strategies, including user provisioning, access governance, and privilege access controls.
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits to identify gaps and ensure adherence to security policies.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administration
  • Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including password vaults, policy managers, and session management tools.
  • Manage application integrations with PAM solutions for secure credential storage, retrieval, and rotation.
  • Perform regular health checks, system upgrades, and patching of IAM infrastructure, implementing preventive measures to ensure uptime and stability.
  • Analyze the root cause of security incidents related to identity and access, implementing preventative controls.
  • Support privileged access remediation and vulnerability mitigation in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Address operational issues and lead resolution efforts for escalated IAM-related problems.
  • Monitor and address vulnerabilities, ensuring continuous and secure system performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of PAM policies, procedures, and operational activities.
  • Generate and present reports on SLA performance, compliance status, and audit findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular disaster recovery (DR) and failover tests to validate system readiness and reliability.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation and evidence for successful DR and failover tests.
  • Ensure IAM solutions adhere to internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.


  • Qualifications:


  • Must have, or be eligible for, reliability clearance from the Canadian government.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or PAM operations, with extensive knowledge of CyberArk.
  • Advanced verbal, written communication skills, research, analytical, and problem solving.
  • Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely to senior leaders and business stakeholders, relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage 24/7/365 hybrid operational teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
  • Deep knowledge of controlling and monitoring user access to applications, including setting up roles, permissions, and authentication methods, as well as understanding the implications these have on security and functionality.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, and their integration with PAM solutions.
  • Experience in using and managing Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards, including tracking tasks, managing workflows, and generating reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining compliance controls for PAM environments, aligned with industry standards like NIST.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust with clients and stakeholders.


  • Certifications (Preferred):


  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.
  • CyberArk certifications such as Certified Delivery Engineer (CCDE) or relevant certifications

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting SLAs and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining custom integrations and connectors for PAM solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced operational role.
  • Effective communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and streamline operations in a PAM environment.
  • A deep understanding of compliance requirements and experience conducting audits in a PAM environment.
  • Ability to innovate and multi-task with minimal oversight.
