Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Data Quality Analyst Tester. This position plays a key role in the testing space and builds coordination. To ensure that all testing is done accurately, including deployment from lower environments to production. This role will work closely with data engineers to help ensure the highest data quality on all pipelines and assets of the team.



Responsibilities:

• This position plays a key role in the testing space and builds coordination. To ensure that all testing are done accurately, including deployment from lower environments to production. This role will work closely with data engineers to help ensurethe highest data quality on all pipelines and assets of the team. Understanding of Cloud and Big Data Management.


Deliverables:

• Develop the test cases for functional testing, coordinate with Data Architect/BSA and other stakeholders, execute it to validate the data quality

• Data Analysis as per requirements and develop data models/mapping

• Data validations and automated data quality pipelines

• Make test calls using Genesys Cloud and validate the data from source to target

• Relevant documentation for sustainment


Qualifications:

• Applied knowledge in Big Data platforms, ideally with exposure to

• Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Pig, Hive, SPARK, Big SQL, NoSQL, YARN, Scala);

• Excellent skill in SQL

• Knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures and their benefits and limitations under particular use cases;

• Hands-on experience with structured and unstructured databases;

• Experience with Cloud
