Compensation: $17.40-$17.85 CAD per hour + Tips

About the Role:
Dishwashers ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes and utensils by washing them in the 3-compartment sink and running them through the commercial dishwasher. They are also responsible for cleaning the restaurant, managing the restaurant’s trash in accordance with the property’s trash regulations, unloading deliveries, and other supporting functions.

- Number of Days: Must be available for 5 shifts per week
- Weekend Availability: Required
- Shifts: Day Shift or Evening Shift

- Reads, understands, and follows all guidelines with regard to the chemicals used in the restaurant
- Wears personal protective equipment to ensure safety and avoid contact with chemicals
- Uses the proper chemical that is designated for each task in the restaurant
- Utilizes the 3-compartment sink and commercial dishwasher
- Bags and prepares trash, cardboard, and other waste and disposing it in accordance with the property’s regulations
- Properly disposes of hazardous chemicals and sharp objects (glass)
- Cleans all areas of the restaurant
- Unloads and transports deliveries inside the restaurant
- Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
- Attends monthly staff meetings and Dishwasher meetings
- Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
- Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
- Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
- Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s“).
