Education: College/ Technical Diploma
Experience:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).

Engineering Specialist - Controls
Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
Education: College/ Technical Diploma
Experience:
- 2+ years of experince with PLC and CNC
- Ability to read blueprints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics.
- Substantial ABB robot experience.
- Familiarity with VFD’s, encoders, network/Ethernet controls, Profinet.
- Understanding Cognex vision systems.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required).
- Proven problem solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery.
- TIA Portal, Step 7, Rexroth, Schneider Unity, 840D.
- Experienced in laser burning.
- Substantial understanding of conveyors system programming and gantry systems, in addition to networking understanding, Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet.
- Simulation modeling exposure.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
- Lean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping.
- DMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experience.
- TQM and Kaizen Methods.
- FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs experience.
- Visual Factory Management.
