Job Description
Position Overview
This co-op position is responsible for assisting with basic accounting administration which includes posting, balancing and closing activities within accounting systems.

Job Description
Position Overview
This co-op position is responsible for assisting with basic accounting administration which includes posting, balancing and closing activities within accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing payments and tickets to producers
- Verify invoices received and process payments for freight
- Monitor customer invoices and accounts
- Prepare and assist with month-end reports and journal entries
- Verify, research and resolve discrepancies
- Provide quality service to internal and external customers that is tactful and knowledgeable
- Acquire basic skills to perform routine tasks
- Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
- Works with either close supervision, or under clearly defined procedures
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Pursuing degree in business-related major
- Participant of university co-op program preferred
- 0-2 years’ relevant experience would be considered an asset
