Job Description
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the group’s financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while playing an active role in the group’s ongoing financial management. More specifically, you will:

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the group’s financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while playing an active role in the group’s ongoing financial management. More specifically, you will:
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Provide detailed financial analysis of the group’s results.
- Coordinate and work closely with the finance teams of Chantier Davie and Helsinki Shipyard.
- Oversee the group’s cash forecasting and management.
- Provide senior management with regular, detailed financial reports to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate external audits and ensure that all accounting practices comply with legal requirements, company standards, and IFRS.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in accounting processes and implement solutions to make them more efficient.
- Implement technological tools to automate certain accounting tasks and improve departmental efficiency.
- Coordinate the preparation of the annual group budget in collaboration with the subsidiary companies.
- Provide support on corporate acquisitions.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or other relevant field.
- CPA designation.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in financial analysis.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders, including senior management, senior advisors, clients, and partners.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in IFRS.
- Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and recommend actions to support the group’s growth and profitability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while producing quality work.
- Proactive, team player.
- Bilingual (French and English). Proficiency in English is required for this position, as the incumbent will be required to interact with our English-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers;
- Must undergo and successfully complete the investigation and security clearance process required by the federal government’s Contract Security Program.
