Full Stack Software Engineer (Banking Integrations)

Description

Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Full Stack Software Engineer with a deep focus on backend integrations for financial data. This role is essential to building a secure and scalable wealth management platform, integrating with banking data providers like Plaid, SaltEdge, MX, and Meld. Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure APIs and backend services to integrate third-party banking platforms
• Write robust, maintainable, and test-driven backend code using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployments using AWS infrastructure
• Ensure integrations are scalable, resilient, and maintain a high level of security
• Collaborate with team members across product and engineering to improve financial data workflows
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full stack development, particularly in financial data integrations
• Strong experience with API design and implementation (RESTful and GraphQL)
• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and modern testing frameworks
• Solid background working with both SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases
• Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD best practices
• Experience in fintech, banking, or wealth management environments is highly preferred
• A problem-solver with the ability to think critically and prioritize in a fast-moving setting
