As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible for performing a variety of activities in support of the service department. Specifically:
- greet and welcome customers upon arrival to the dealership
- tag customer vehicles upon arrival to the dealership; apply seat and steering wheel covers
- maintain parking lots; move parked vehicles to ensure ample parking is available for customers; rearrange vehicles as needed to maximize space and parking availability
- ensure that the service drive-thru remains uncongested and vehicles are flowing through orderly and timely
- wash vehicle exterior in preparation for customer delivery
- maintain dealership facility, ie. removal of debris, snow, et cetera
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience with customer service, including:
- 1 to 2 years experience as a general labourer, with the desire to develop a focused skill set in the automotive idustry
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Driver's License and clean Drivers Abstract
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
- ability to maintain professionalism
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- a proven commitment to quality of work
