About the Role - The Junior Internal Systems Administrator will be responsible for the technical infrastructure of CarltonOne’s business operations. The Junior Internal Systems Administrator will interface primarily with internal staff to support ongoing technical operations. In this role the applicant will be responsible for ensuring the internal technical systems are functioning to the satisfaction of affected staff members and secure to the standards outlined by CarltonOne’s Information Security Policy.
Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 & Exchange Online administration
- Entra ID Administration
- Add/remove/edit users, aliases, groups, licenses
- Monitor/audit logs
General desktop support (Windows/MacOS)
- General desktop software help
- New laptop configuration & deployment
- New user orientation
Maintenance of the internal network
- Windows Domain Controller
- Shared File System/Folders
- Wired & Wireless network
- Firewall configuration
Zoom Room & Phone administration
- Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Accounts, rooms, and extensions add/edit/remove
- Monitor/audit logs
Internal Atlassian software suite support
- Provide internal support on Jira / Confluence systems
- Act as technical SME on Jira / Confluence systems
- Atlassian software patches & maintenance
Sophos Security
- Keep security system up to date
- Monitor end-point protection
- Monitor/audit logs for security incidents
Internal asset management
- Maintain asset log & tracking
- Conduct periodic audits of internal assets
Office printer maintenance
- General internal troubleshooting
- Monitor and control supplies
Door security maintenance
- Add/remove/edit users
- Monitor/audit logs
Perform internal Information Security audits on assets and systems
- Develop audit process, checklist, schedule
- Performed schedule audits
- Document, distribute, and archive audit results
Support global workforce
- May include shifting hours to overlap with other time zones
Other tasks as required by your supervisor
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

- General desktop support skills & experience
- Active Directory/Entra ID knowledge & experience
- Microsoft 365 administration experience
