The Role
At STRIVE, we are partnered with an excellent client and a leader in their industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the core management team and oversee the maintenance department in their Delta facility.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be involved with overseeing all site maintenance, including building and production equipment, and mentoring the maintenance team. This is a hands-on position!
This will be a Monday- Friday position with a starting time of 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The hired candidate is required to be flexible for extra work hours during busy periods and potential weekend work.

Responsibilities
- Supervise the execution of daily/weekly maintenance tasks/projects assigned to the team.
- Respond to service calls from the production floor - troubleshoot, and repair machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Replace and/or repair defective and non-working parts.
- Install new equipment and machines.
- Coordinate with the internal staff and external contractors to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
- Track inventory of parts; ensure availability for routine and emergency maintenance.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to purchase parts, tools, and equipment needed.
- Review and understand equipment and machinery manuals to determine SOPs.
- 7 or more years of experience in a hands-on maintenance role, preferably in the food industry.
- Trade certification and experience with refrigeration is a strong asset.
- Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems, electronics, welding, and machining knowledge is required.
- Predictive maintenance, able to anticipate any potential issues with machinery.
- Strong adaptability, able to pivot within an extremely fast-paced plant!
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective prioritizing, organizing, and time management skills.
- Ability to cultivate strong and effective working relationships.
- Available for work overtime and weekend hours if needed.
- Own vehicle required.
- $85,000 to $90,000
