Manager – Entertainment
DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants
Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Vancouver, BC
Contract type: Full time

About The Role
DMCL Chartered Professional Accountants is looking for a Manager to join our Entertainment Group in either our Vancouver or Victoria office. This is not your typical accounting role—here, you’ll step into the dynamic world of entertainment, working closely with musicians, actors, artist managers, record labels and more, acting as their trusted business and financial advisor.
Our Entertainment Group is deeply immersed in the industry, managing the financial lives of creatives so they can focus on their craft. Think of us as the off-site accounting department for our clients: we’re their bookkeepers, controllers, payroll specialists, and tax advisors—all rolled into one. From tour budgeting and day-to-day bill payments to cross-border tax planning and year-end compliance, we help our clients stay financially sound and future-focused.
We’re looking for someone with strong tax and accounting experience, and an excitement for learning the business side of entertainment. If you’re energized by working in a fast-paced environment, love collaborating with creative professionals, and have a knack for problem-solving and prioritization, we want to hear from you.
How you’ll make a difference
As a Manager in our Entertainment Group, you’ll play a key role in both client service and team leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
