Who You Are
As part of our patient care team, you will use your expertise in performing MRI scans on both our Philips 1.5T Achieva scanner and our 3.0T Siemens Skyra scanner. You will be involved in the routine activities of the department, ensuring patient and personnel safety.
What You Bring To The Role
Variable shifts during the weekday and weekend, shifts include: days, evenings and night shifts. Shifts can be (7.5 and 11.25 hours) as required.

What You Bring To The Role
- Completion of a recognized post diploma program in MRI, or recognized equivalent with MRI certification required
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required.
- Minimum six (6) months recent clinical MRI experience required.
- Contrast injection course, required and experience with IV insertion and injection of contrast media
- Must have good knowledge of cross-sectional Anatomy
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrated excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and team building skills
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
- Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
