JOB FUNCTION: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring efficient operations, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment. This role focuses on optimizing processes, maintaining workplace safety, and leading a team to meet operational goals.

Local Pay Range
$95,000—$105,000 CAD
Job Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage the customer service and billing department to enhance order processing, invoicing accuracy, and client satisfaction.
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the distribution center.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Oversee and manage an additional location in Quebec.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with supply chain and sales to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Oversee facility maintenance, security, and warehouse equipment to ensure a safe and functional workplace.
- Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to all workplace safety procedures and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach and develop staff.
- Proficiency in ERP Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Canadian workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Being bilingual would be a plus.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
- Post-secondary education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management
