About The Role
Axiom Builders is looking to further upgrade our Special Project team with the addition of a Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will support our Project Managers in overseeing the performance of a project, including documentation control, preconstruction, budgets/cost, project schedules, trade relationships and construction quality.
The Project Coordinator, Special Projects will have the opportunity to be mentored directly by an experienced project management and interior construction team, and work on some more fast-paced, unique builds predominantly in Tenant Improvement for a wide variety of residential and commercial clients across the Lower Mainland.

The ideal candidate on our Special Projects team is a self-motivated, detailed driven individual with an eye for accuracy and quality. Despite Axiom’s expertise in high-rise concrete construction, you are more excited about delivering on the interiors of a building. You are excited by the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders across the organization who are eager to pass knowledge onto the next generation of construction professionals. You are resourceful, resilient, and attribute your success to your numbers-driven mindset. You are highly adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines, given the short schedules in tenant improvement and special projects. About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate project details and work cohesively with teams of subcontractors, clients/owners, architects, and other project stakeholders, which includes participating actively in meetings as required;
- Coordinate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in a detail oriented manner;
- Organize and stay up to date on all general and technical specifications, drawings, contracts and construction documents;
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, third party contacts, consultants, engineers and subtrade partners.

Skills And Experience
- At least one to two (1-2) years of experience in space planning and design, tenant improvement and special projects construction;
- Certificate, diploma or degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field;
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Procore, and Excel;
- Ability to communicate and represent Axiom Builders professionally with clients and trades;
- Ability to motivate and establish effective relationships with trade partners;
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment;
- Previous experience in solid construction estimating, cost consulting, or quantity surveying experience will be considered an asset.
