Role Overview


We’re looking for a Regional HR Operations Lead for North America to join our growing People team. This role will play a critical part in embedding Tripledot's group HR operations strategy across the region, ensuring that employees across the US and Canada have an excellent experience throughout their time with us.


As part of the Group HR Operations team, you'll work closely with local HR Business Partners, studio leadership and the wider global People function. You’ll oversee regional compliance, payroll, benefits, and reporting, as well as manage and develop our HR Operations and Payroll team members in the region.


The ideal person for this role will bring a strong background in HR operations, excellent knowledge of North American employment law, and a proactive, people-first mindset. The role can be based in either our Richardson, Texas or Toronto, Ontario offices.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure a user-focused employee experience that puts people at the heart of everything we do
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving workplace issues and promoting a positive culture
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and conduct investigations as needed
  • Oversee employment compliance and legal matters across the US and Canada
  • Ensure completion and reporting of all required state and federal compliance training
  • Own local payroll administration and signoff, aligned with group processes
  • Manage supplier relationships with HR service providers, including benefits and retirement plans
  • Oversee renewals, elections, and enrolments for benefits and 401k/retirement provisions
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, reporting, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Provide regional HR analytics and insights to the leadership team
  • Localise and implement group HR strategies for maximum regional impact
  • Support delivery of HR projects, events, meetings, and activities
  • Contribute to planning and evaluation of training programmes and resources
  • Lead, mentor, and develop local HR Operations team members
  • Build strong partnerships with studio teams to align HR with business needs
  • Support broader HR initiatives as needed


Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Proven HR operations experience at HR Manager level or above
  • Experience working across both US and Canadian employment landscapes
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in North America
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A user-centred, agile approach with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in process improvement and change management
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
