  • Conduct regular site meetings to ensure alignment and clarity on goals and timelines.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and pride in workmanship.
  • Represent Akash Homes professionally to homeowners and trade partners.

Project Oversight & Operational Excellence

  • Manage all aspects of on-site construction from excavation to possession.
  • Own the site schedule, adjusting timelines and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and code-compliant worksite in accordance with OH&S standards.
  • Perform site walkthroughs, quality inspections, and address deficiencies proactively.
  • Complete pre- and post-possession repairs and seasonal deficiency work.
  • Collaborate with trade partners and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely execution.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Business Alignment

  • Liaise with Estimating, Drafting, and Warranty teams to ensure accurate execution of plans.
  • Communicate with Sales and Customer Experience teams regarding homeowner needs and timelines.
  • Uphold quality and safety standards through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven site supervision or construction management experience, ideally in residential homebuilding.
  • Strong understanding of the Alberta Building Code, construction best practices, and site safety regulations.
  • Hands-on capability to manage deficiencies, perform minor repairs, and support trade coordination.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to lead by example.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with BuildPro is an asset.
  • Post-secondary coursework in Building Science, Construction Management, or related fields is preferred.
  • A reliable vehicle (truck required) and the ability to work at multiple sites across Edmonton.
