Salary Range: $39.16 - $50.77 /hour
As a member of interdisciplinary teams, the Social Worker would be required to provide assessment and rehabilitation services to clients 16 years of age and over. The position will work with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, and neuro-behavioural rehabilitation patients. This position supports both inpatient and outpatient programs. Additionally, the Social Worker will provide counseling and education to patients, family members and service providers in the community.

Essential Qualifications
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Valid registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation principles and practices related to neurological trauma
- Strong collaborative, communication, interpersonal, counseling and problem-solving skills
- Experience with family counseling
- Demonstrated ability to assess physical and psychological needs of patients
- Demonstrated expertise in treatment planning
- Demonstrated strength in written/ verbal communication
- Ability to execute early problem and needs identification through professional assessments and skillful implementation of all planned social work interventions in cooperation with the patient, family and interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated skills in providing education to patients, families, the health care team and the community
- Knowledge of community health service resources, knowledge of WSIB and motor vehicle insurance and related issues
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a wide range of health care professionals, with case managers, insurance companies and attorneys
- Ability to travel throughout southwestern Ontario
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
- Masters of Social Work
- Minimum five years of clinical experience

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
