This Person Is Responsible For
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Planning & Delivery Management to lead a team of procurement professionals directly supporting and leading the execution of data analytics, market intelligence, strategy, reporting and project/initiative execution necessary for Nutrien’s Operations and Category Management procurement teams, leadership, and stakeholders.

This Person Is Responsible For
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Planning & Delivery Management to lead a team of procurement professionals directly supporting and leading the execution of data analytics, market intelligence, strategy, reporting and project/initiative execution necessary for Nutrien’s Operations and Category Management procurement teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and execute value and continuous improvement opportunities which will bring sustainable positive impact to the business.
- Effectively partner and maintain positive relationships with other functions to understand and meet the needs of Governance and Enablement’s stakeholders.
- Lead planning, reporting, and the execution of procurement projects and initiatives, aligned across Procurement to ensure consistent and high-quality program and portfolio delivery.
- Own Procurement value delivery methodology, tracking and reporting, aligned across the function to ensure sustainability, consistency, and alignment to business goals and objectives.
- Manage procurement projects and initiatives, leveraging project management and business acumen expertise.
- Manage required G&A Budgeting and progress reporting across Procurement.
- Development, management and reporting of Procurement Key Performance Indicators.
- Own and facilitate integrated Procurement Roadmap across all internal functions.
- Lead spend analytics subject matter experts, ensuring data alignment, enrichment, and integrity, strongly partnered with IT for delivery.
- Develop data visualizations and reporting, executing and supporting on behalf of Procurement business needs.
- Align business needs, and manage suppliers, in support of best-in-class Market intelligence and benchmarking necessary for Procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant industry and leadership experience in progressive strategic sourcing, category/commodity management, supply chain management and/or relevant experience in business management, project management, or engineering in applicable operating environments.
- Certifications in disciplines such as Project management, Procurement, Inventory Management, Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning is considered an asset.
- Thorough operational knowledge and experience in procurement systems, processes, value delivery, initiatives and projects delivery.
- Motivated self-starter business mindset; proven change agent with excellent facilitation skills.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills, adaptability/flexibility and the ability to develop innovative concepts, techniques and effectively generate recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience and success in implementing continuous improvement opportunities and initiatives/projects, earning trust and building a positive reputation.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and collaborate with all levels of management and staff.
- Exceptional written communication, oral presentation and influencing skills.
- A curious and collaborative mindset approach to empower and continue building the strategic skillset of teams, delivering high quality service levels to customers.
