YOUR IMPACT
This position is responsible for ensuring the success of Canada Marketing effort in International Markets. This requires the delivery of effective Marketing Campaigns to the Sales teams and in growing demand for OpenText solutions across a number of business solutions.
Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with Sales Teams (we have a cross BU responsibility), the position requires a combination of leadership, management but mainly domain marketing skills, which will be leveraged to drive the campaigns necessary to meet the regional business pipeline goals.

YOUR IMPACT

What The Role Offers
- Collaborate with sales teams and to develop plans and tactics that drive pipeline and revenue goals
- Execute end-to-end virtual and in-person event logistics (webinars, executive roundtables, trade shows, conferences)
- Tailor global digital campaigns for Canada Market with implementation (email, social, inbound, PPC)
- Measure campaign impact through SFDC reporting, evaluate event/campaign ROI, and present recommendations for improvement
- Develop and deliver marketing plans that meet pipeline objectives.
- Leverage local, International and corporate resources to ensure the plan is executed effectively and Business Unit pipeline targets met.
- Track and report both the Marketing ‘mix’ of activities and channels and associated results, gauge success and make adjustments to the plan as required.
- Ensure that the success can be tracked effectively and demonstrate the return on investment for the budget and resources allocated
- Ensure an up to date Marketing record of Marketing success is maintained, including customer profiles and campaign successes.
- Spend the budget to plan
- Participate and present updates on a regular basis to key stakeholders
- Act as a brand ambassador for the OpenText Brand
- Ensure that all procurement for all campaigns meets compliance standards
- Engage in the execution of campaigns, and locally-engaged third party marketing suppliers, supervise the engagement and coordination of these resources to ensure good value for money and compliance with OpenText standards.
- Develop and keep Marketing skills current and in-line with OpenText requirements
- Proven track experience in delivering Digital Programs or Campaigns
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience of Marketing in a large software company
- History and track record of achievement in assisting Sales with revenue attainment objectives
- Experience managing a Marketing budget effectively
- A strong understanding of digital marketing processes and systems, including Eloqua Marketing Automation platform or Swoogo
- Familiarity with lead generation and lead management tactics and processes, pipeline management and the associated measures and metrics
- A strong professional presence capable of commanding attention from both internal and external audiences.
- A good understanding of how social media can be used as part of an effective Marketing plan
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both native tongue and English
- Good social skills, enabling informal networking with key stakeholders.
- Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to run a workshop successfully
- The ability to influence and persuade others and respond to objections successfully
- Strong presentation skills
- Effective user of Microsoft Office applications
