Group Summary

The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, design and improve the operational systems, processes and policies to support Magna's Top Priorities: World Class Manufacturing, Innovation, Leadership Development
• Develop linkages to ensure alignment and accountability regarding continuous improvement within the divisions
• Share best practices and lessons learned across the divisions
• Review project performance and prepare status reports
• Stay intricately connected with technology, commercial and product applications to maintain a deep knowledge of current developments in the product line
• Understand customer needs and then identity and implement process improvements aligned with customer
• Analyze relevant data to identity large scale improvement opportunities
• Monitor and measure the impact of changes implemented
• Develop metrics and analyze data for process measurement identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operational systems and processes
• Use AI technology for data analysis and data prediction
  
  

Professional Experience And Education

• Minimum completion of a University of a Sciences degree in IT or equivalent areas
• Professional (5 years of experience)
• Experience with High Risk projects

• Specialized knowledge and know how to conduct higher-level analysis
• Knowledge of cross functional business disciplines (sales, marketing, development, manufacturing, quality, legal regulatory, information systems)
• Good communication, presentation / moderation skills
• Experience with Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving, cost effectiveness, Innovation and Creativity

• Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office
